Part-Time OR Circulator

KHI is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse to provide nursing care in a hospital setting. The RN will collaborate with physicians and work under the direction of the unit director, ensuring quality patient care and upholding nursing standards. The role involves assessment, diagnosis, planning, and evaluation of patient health needs, with a focus on infection prevention and promoting patient satisfaction. The position is part of a sensitive and compassionate unit.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing or graduate of a Nursing Diploma program.
• Current, valid Arizona RN license or compact state RN license.
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Unit Specific Requirements:
• Medical Surgical Units:
• Basic EKG competency within 3 months of hire.
• Pediatrics:
• PALS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 6 months of hire.
• Intensive Care Unit/Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit:
• ACLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 3 months of hire.
• Women’s Services:
• NRP certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• Emergency Department:
• ACLS and PALS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 3 months of hire.
• Emergency Severity Index (ESI) training required within 6 months of hire.
• TNCC required within 24 months of hire.
• Surgical Services/Circulator:
• CNOR encouraged.
• Special Position Requirements:
• Exposure to blood, body fluids, and tissues, as well as potential for exposure to chemical, biological, and radioactive substances.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse
