Executive Commercial Casualty Underwriter

Our client continues to expand their E&S footprint and is seeking to add an Executive Commercial Casualty Underwriter to join their team. This position will focus on the underwriting of primary casualty risks exclusively through wholesale agents and brokers.

Requirements

• 7 - 15+ years of underwriting experience in Primary Casualty, with a focus on working with wholesale agents and brokers
• Strong understanding of the E&S market and the unique needs of wholesale distribution channels
• Proven ability to negotiate and manage broker relationships
• Analytical mindset with experience in assessing risks, developing pricing strategies, and ensuring portfolio profitability
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Risk Management, Business, etc.); CPCU, AU, or other insurance designations are preferred

• $170,000 to $210,000+ annual base salary (depending on experience) plus 10 – 30% Target Bonus
