Adult Education GED Teacher (part-time, on-site)

Requirements

• Valid Michigan Teaching Certification
• 1+ year of classroom teaching experience
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with literacy programs, testing, and specific needs of adult learners
• Strong ability to teach literacy skills in both one-on-one to small group instruction
• Computer skills, experience with online learning platforms, Microsoft Word and Excel
• Organization and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to prioritize tasks
