IT Infrastructure Specialist (Network & Security)

IT Infrastructure Specialist (Network & Security) responsible for follow-the-sun delivery and support of Network services, reacting on all network infrastructure incidents as 2nd line support and cooperation with other infrastructure teams for resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of IT Infrastructure technologies, standards, and trends.
• Strong technical background with 3+ years’ experience in a Network Administration role delivering network infrastructure systems, security and support.
• Strong technical knowledge of network equipment – switches, routers (Cisco, Dell, HP,) & firewalls.
• Strong technical knowledge of organizing WiFi setups.
• Strong understanding of IPsec VPN setup, site-to-site tunnels, and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of all aspects of design and implementation of corporate networking and systems infrastructure, including MPLS, VPN, network connectivity, Internet access.
• Proficiency with switching and routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, route maps, Access Control Lists, route redistribution, path selection, and traffic engineering.
• Experience with LAN/WAN/SD-WAN design and architecture.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure change management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex IT infrastructure issues.
• Work with vendors and service providers to resolve escalated issues
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures
