Requirements

• B.S.C.E. degree required
• E.I.T. certification required; P.E. preferred
• Familiarity with standard references such as the AASHTO Green Book, the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, the Highway Safety Manual and the Highway Capacity Manual
• Familiarity with GDOT design standards and guidelines
• Computer skills including training in CADD (MICROSTATION, OPEN ROADS), HCS, SYNCHRO/SIM-TRAFFIC, Vistro, VISSIM, SIDRA, Microsoft WORD and Microsoft EXCEL
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
