KBR is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at our Colorado Springs, CO Cygnet Heights office. The selected candidate will operate under the direct supervision of the Technical Operations Manager and support projects around ground-based mobile satellite communication systems, software development, and radio frequency engineering.
Requirements
- Analyzes user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
- Analyzes system requirements and provides support to design and development activities.
- Confirm system's and components' capabilities by designing testing methods; testing properties and conducts testing events.
- Perform requirements analysis, decomposition, and allocation of requirements
- Provide Program Management support by tracking all program requirements and technical specifications, ensuring design and manufacturing processes support verification and validation.
- Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies.
- Mentor others in the principles, techniques, processes, and procedures of Systems Engineering.
- Provides technical guidance and support for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
- Provides technical support to application and tool development teams.
- Coordinates with software architects and other technical delivery team members to overcome technical obstacles.
- Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and associated problems, issues or conflicts.
- Communicate with other program personnel and government staff
