Construction Estimator II

KBE Building Corporation is seeking a Construction Estimator II to join their team. The successful candidate will gather, calculate, and compile data for use in conceptual/bid proposal estimates, prepare routine estimates, and maintain current, accurate information on prices from suppliers and contractors.

Requirements

• Review proposal specifications and drawings
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and bid strategy meetings
• Analyze project scope of work
• Maintain current, accurate information on prices
• Prepare estimates and subcontractor quotes
• Interface with owner, architect, engineers and subcontractors
• Prepare RFIs and distribute addenda to appropriate parties
• Write exhibits identifying exclusions and qualifications
• Prepare comprehensive, accurate exhibits outlining KBE responsibilities and owner or tenant responsibilities
