Dental Lab Tech

Kansas City University College of Dental Medicine seeks a Dental Laboratory Technician as full-time staff for a new dental school in Joplin, Missouri. The candidate should have a strong desire to support faculty, staff and students and must demonstrate the ability to contribute to and participate in a humanistic environment of learning and discovery.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited dental laboratory technology program (preferred)
• Minimum of two years working experience in a commercial or academic dental lab
• Technical knowledge of dental procedures, prescriptions and equipment
• Advanced knowledge with common computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) acquisition, design and fabrication software
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Communication and collaboration abilities
• Organizational and time management skills
• Reading comprehension and critical thinking abilities
• Written and verbal communication skills
