Adjunct Assistant Professor - College of Dental Medicine (DDS/DMD)

Kansas City University College of Dental Medicine invites applications for part time adjunct faculty members in the general practice of dentistry for the KCU Oral Health Center. Faculty must be motivated and engaged clinicians who are excited to help build an innovative and dynamic academic and clinical dental medicine program, educating the next generation of dentists while providing comprehensive care to a rural and diverse group of patients.

Requirements

• D.D.S./D.M.D. degree
• Active license in Missouri or have an active dental license in a US state or Canada and be eligible for licensure in Missouri
• Prior teaching experience and advanced training in general or restorative dentistry (preferred)
• Passion for dentistry, enthusiasm for dental education, and a strong desire to teach students in a demanding, startup academic environment
• Ability to improve the oral and overall health for patients in the region through collaboration with other primary care professionals
