Job Description
Kanopi Studios is seeking a WordPress Technical Lead to drive technical execution on client projects, mentor developers, and ensure high-quality deliverables. The role requires a strong understanding of WordPress architecture, custom development, and collaborative leadership within a distributed team. This is a fully remote position based in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.
Requirements
- 8+ years of WordPress experience in a professional setting.
- Comfortable working in support roles.
- Deep expertise with WordPress architecture and custom development.
- Proficient in Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), CPTs, taxonomies, and REST API integration.
- Strong understanding of full-site editing (FSE).
- Skilled in JavaScript and React.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
