Job Description
JumpCloud is seeking a Platform Software Engineer to join their Platform Engineering organization. The role involves defining and implementing routing, load balancing, and general communication strategies within a distributed microservice-based containerized environment. This position focuses on building and scaling the platform, and working closely with other Cloud Engineering teams and engineering teams across the organization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional programming experience (Golang, Python, NodeJS).
- Professional experience developing and deploying applications in a public cloud environment (AWS, GCP, Oracle, AliCloud or Azure) with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working with highly available distributed systems.
- Experience leveraging tools to monitor platform stability, availability and performance (ie: Datadog).
