Job Description
Jr. Davis Construction Company is seeking a passionate Construction Field Superintendent to join their team in Central Florida. This is a family-owned heavy highway and civil construction firm with over 900 employees, aiming to provide a positive and supportive work environment. Responsibilities include daily supervision, scheduling, overseeing field personnel, and ensuring projects are completed safely and on schedule.
Requirements
- Competent in reading and understanding civil construction plans, drawings, and specifications
- Experience in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, safety management, quality control and budgeting of all phases of civil construction
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Strong decision-making skills
- Good math skills
- Experience using project management and/or construction software
- Excellent communication, organizational, supervisory and planning skills
- A Valid driver’s license
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and ten (10) years of experience in the field
