Join JPM Silicon as an intern to develop and design a melting furnace for recycled silicon, working in a dynamic environment with a strong team culture.
Requirements
- Conducting a literature review of existing recycling and processing procedures for silicon, with a focus on kerf recycling and silicon recovery from used solar modules
- Conducting melting experiments with different silicon sources (e.g. kerf, wafer breakage, Si from module recycling) to evaluate material behavior and process parameters
- Designing a melting furnace for the specific requirements of Si-kerf
- Development and testing of a melting process based on microwave technology, including process control, energy input, and feasibility assessment
Benefits
- Modern working environment
- Home office possible by arrangement
- Free coffee
- Bright workspaces
- Strong team culture
- Regular team events
- Possibility to participate in the joint lunch
- Relaxed arrival with parking spaces directly on site
