Community Development & Event Specialist Volunteer/Intern

Jolkona is a nonprofit that brings high potential social entrepreneurs from emerging countries to Seattle for an intensive 3-week mentor-driven accelerator. The Community Development and Events Specialist Intern/Volunteer will cultivate partnerships and community relations to promote growth, awareness, and support of Jolkona's mission.

Requirements

• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Ability to manage and accomplish the event end-to-end
• Stellar organization skills
• Loves sharing ideas with others
• Project management experience a plus, but not necessary
• Excellent multitasking skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Motivated self-starter who doesn’t need a lot of constant direction
• Can build great rapport with corporate partners and staff
• Works well under pressure
