Senior/Staff Flight Research Test Pilot

Joby Aviation is seeking a Test Pilot to operate research and development crewed and UAS platforms, focusing on the Cessna Caravan program. The role involves piloting aircraft in developmental and operational flight testing, contributing to both test piloting and engineering development activities. This position offers opportunities to gain experience in a fast-moving team and support the full spectrum of test pilot duties.

Requirements

• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate
• Instrument Airplane rating
• Minimum of 1500 hours pilot in command (PIC) flight time and 300 hours of turbine time
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field
• At least 8 years of experience in flight test position
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work extended hours and travel
• Ability to work with restricted control over export controls
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
