Composite & Steel Tooling Fabrication & Maintenance Technician

Joby is seeking a skilled Composite Tooling Fabricator to join their team as we pilot aircraft through the certification process. The role involves detailed foam preparation, epoxy casting, steel/aluminum mold preparation, and assembly, adhering to strict quality control measures. They focus on building strong relationships within their team and ensuring safety.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• 5+ years of experience of composite and or metallic materials and their specific handling requirements
• 3+ years of experience manual lathe and milling machining experience
• Strong mechanical skills related to assemblies
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to become certified to wear a respirator
• Able to lift assemblies weighing up to 50 lbs
• No known allergies to epoxies or other composites materials
