Job Description
Data Warehouse Engineer (m/w/d) job description for a leading printing industry company in Europe. Responsibilities include establishing a 3-tier data warehouse, requirements analysis, ETL process development, and ensuring data warehouse operation and performance.
Requirements
- A successfully completed study in the MINT field, preferably (business) computer science, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in the field of data warehouse engineering
- In-depth knowledge of working with relational and multidimensional databases, preferably with Microsoft technologies (SQL Server / Analysis Services)
- SQL as 'mother tongue'
- Basic software development knowledge. Ideally with Microsoft stack (C#,.net, SSIS, TFS, etc.)
- Experiences in the fields of data mining and machine learning, knowledge of R, SPSS, Python, and market-standard BI solutions are a plus
- Understanding of business-related connections and good basic understanding of requirements from departments regarding steering relevant KPIs
- High goal orientation and performance willingness, abstract and analytical problem-solving ability, and a highly developed, empathetic communication ability
- Very good German and English knowledge in word and writing
