Senior Cloud Security Engineer (Remote - US)

This position is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced security professional to lead cloud and enterprise security initiatives within a dynamic, fast-paced technology environment. The Senior Cloud Security Engineer will blend hands-on technical execution with strategic oversight, ensuring secure architecture, incident response, and risk mitigation across hybrid environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related role.
• CISSP or equivalent enterprise security certification preferred.
• Hands-on experience securing cloud environments, preferably Azure and AWS.
• Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS) and compliance frameworks (HITRUST, PCI DSS).
• Expertise in network security technologies, OS platforms (Windows, Linux), and cloud infrastructure security.
• Experience in application security, including OWASP, SAST, and DAST.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to mentor junior engineers.
• Additional experience in network or systems engineering is a plus.
