Senior AI Engineer (Remote - US)

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to lead the development of advanced AI platforms that transform complex healthcare data into actionable insights. The role emphasizes technical leadership, mentorship, and end-to-end ownership of AI initiatives.

Requirements

• 3+ years of ML/AI engineering experience in high-growth or equivalent academic research environments.
• 3+ years of software development experience, with proficiency in Python and frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Experience with Databricks, Mosaic AI Gateway, or similar Data+AI platforms.
• Expertise in language modeling, generative AI, fine-tuning, evaluation benchmarks, agentic workflows, RAG, SQL agents, and MCP.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end model and system development, from research to deployment and monitoring.
• Experience designing scalable, distributed systems handling large-scale data (10s–100s TB).
• Proven ability to lead projects, provide technical guidance, and influence stakeholders.
• Familiarity with software engineering best practices including testing, code reviews, and deployment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with adjacent roles (product, project management, client delivery, operations).
