We are looking for a Principal Data Scientist to lead the design and implementation of advanced algorithms that analyze large-scale sensor and IoT data to model vehicle and human behavior. This role combines research, algorithm development, and hands-on implementation, with opportunities to mentor junior data scientists and influence product strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Data Science, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related fields.
- 7+ years of professional experience in data science.
- 3+ years developing commercial software with algorithmic, AI/ML, or signal processing components.
- Strong expertise in machine learning/deep learning, statistics, signal processing, and sensor physics.
- Proficiency in programming and software development for large-scale systems, including Python, Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, SQL.
- Experience with Big Data platforms and scalable AI/ML frameworks (e.g., Spark, Ray, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch).
- Strong visualization and data literacy skills, capable of simplifying complex results for stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and customer-focused skills.
- Preferred: Master’s or Ph.D., prior experience in autonomous systems, automotive data, or IoT platforms.
