Cybersecurity Engineer I/II (Remote - US

Cybersecurity Engineer I/II role in a dynamic and collaborative environment, designing and implementing security measures across networks, applications, and cloud environments.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or related roles.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency in Python or Java for automation, scripting, and tool development.
• Hands-on experience with penetration testing tools (e.g., Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap).
• Strong understanding of network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and Zero Trust principles.
• Knowledge of data security principles including encryption, DLP, and access controls.
• Familiarity with securing web/mobile applications, APIs, microservices, and containerized deployments.
• Experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructure security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Understanding of SOC workflows, SIEM platforms, and incident response procedures.
• Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CEH, CISSP, or GIAC are a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively.
