Jhpiego seeks a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer to support the implementation of Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (MNCH) strengthening activities across Sindh Province, with a primary focus on Tando Allah Yar, Matiari, and Mirpurkhas districts. The M&E Officer will provide technical and operational support to the design, implementation, and routine functioning of the project’s monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) system.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Statistics, Social Sciences, Health Informatics, Data Sciences or a related field.
- Minimum 5-6 years of relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in MNCH or health systems strengthening programs.
- Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, STATA, SPSS).
- Experience supporting facility-level data collection and verification, preferably related to MNCH or EmONC services.
- Experience working with government health information systems and district/provincial health departments.
- Experience working on donor-funded projects is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with DHIS2 or other HMIS platforms preferred.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Urdu. Sindhi is an asset.
- Ability to work independently in the field and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently within Sindh.
