Job Description
JFE Shoji Power Canada (JSC) is seeking a Process Control Specialist to provide technical support, training, and leadership for existing and new equipment. The role involves troubleshooting, testing, and maintaining electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards. This position is crucial in supporting the company's growth and meeting customer requirements.
Requirements
- BA in engineering technology or equivalent experience
- 5+ years' experience troubleshooting and programming PLC’s in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in reading and editing electrical, mechanical, Ladder Logic, Process and layout drawings
- Ability to write PLC/HMI programs from scratch
- Knowledge of Siemens TIA & S7, Allen Bradley, HMI, and networking
- Experience in power distribution systems
- Experience in equipment assembly tooling, automation, robots, process controls, data communication
