Job Description
The Jewish Community Center of Staten Island (JCC) is seeking a Daycare Teacher to foster a safe, nurturing, and fun learning environment for children. The role involves creating a stimulating environment, ensuring child development, and maintaining a safe and healthy school day. The position is for a Full Time, one-time role.
Requirements
- Create and maintain a safe, clean and physically appropriate environment
- Provide and ensure appropriate interaction with children
- Provide and ensure appropriate supervision of children
- Ensure appropriate language and positive discipline
- Assist in planning school-wide events
- Maintain confidentiality of child, parent, staff and other center issues
- Attends weekly staff meetings and training
