Job Description
JERA Americas seeks a Senior Vice President of Operations to oversee the safe and reliable operation of thermal generation and renewable energy facilities. The successful candidate will have experience in power plant operations, maintenance, and regulatory compliance, as well as strong leadership and communication skills.
Requirements
- Proficient broad-based knowledge of power plant operations, maintenance, and regulatory compliance
- Thorough comprehension and negotiation of 3rd party O&M Contracts
- Thorough comprehension of Major Maintenance Service Agreements with OEMs and third parties and understanding market trends
- Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to get things done under pressure with short timelines
- Desire to work in team-oriented Japanese culture
- Knowledge of electric wholesale market rules and regulations
