Pilgrim’s is seeking a Shipping/Warehouse Loader for its Afternoon Shift. The position involves general operation and maintenance of the auto scale, manual scaling, and operating hand-held scanner equipment. The successful candidate will work in a team environment, adhere to company policies, and maintain a positive work atmosphere.
Requirements
- Ability to follow written and verbal direction
- Ability to communicate with coworkers and Leadership
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively
- Ability to obtain Pilgrim’s valid forklift license
- Ability to work in a cold environment
- Ability to push/pull up to 100 pounds
- Ability to learn new procedures
- Basic Computer skills required
- Previous forklift experience required
- Previous experience loading trucks, fulfilling customer orders required
- Previous experience working with inventory control systems / hand held scanners required
