Our assemblers handle light and average weight parts, hand and power tools. The Highly Skilled Assembler will mount and connect auxiliary, mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumonic, or hydraulic equipment.
Requirements
- Responsible for manually pulling all parts from inventory based on the job order
- Assemble the parts based on the job order to form the Dry Freight body sides.
- Assembling, installing, or removing body parts
- Use a circular saw to cut sheets of plywood for installation to the interior walls of the unit
- Use a band saw to cut e-track for installation to the interior walls of the unit
- Installation of both the plywood and e-track with the use of a screw gun and rivet gun
- Responsible for uncoiling roofing material, measuring and shearing material to size and installing onto top of truck body
- Mount and connect auxiliary, mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumonic, or hydraulic equipment
- Use overhead catwalk
