Tax Attorney

We are looking for a U.S. tax attorney to fill a tax structuring and advisory role in our New York office, collaborating with our Tax team and non-tax professionals to manage tax and structural aspects of internal restructurings and complex transactions.

Requirements

• A qualified lawyer with 6+ years of experience working at a leading law firm and/or financial institution
• Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage complex tax issues
• Highly organized and flexible; able to multitask and manage a range of competing priorities and projects with tight deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills; can work independently and as part of a team
• Able to communicate with professionals within and outside Jane Street across all levels and areas of expertise
• Experience with the taxation of financial products and/or experience with international tax issues is a plus
• Significant tax transaction and structuring experience is strongly preferred
