Adjunct, Nursing - Med/Surg

Adjunct Faculty are hired each semester on an as-needed basis to teach Med/Surg classes. They are responsible for creating a learning environment, providing effective instruction, and maintaining accurate student records.

Requirements

• Create a learning environment that assists students in reaching their goals
• Provide effective instruction and assessment within the framework of common syllabi provided
• Maintain accurate student records, grades, and other requirements
• Engage with students in meaningful and productive ways
• Interact with students and co-workers in a professional and cooperative manner
• Ensure knowledge of and implement emergency and safety procedures
