Substitute Teacher - All Programs

The Substitute Teacher position at Ithaca Montessori School requires individuals with a passion for nurturing children. Substitute Teachers will support teachers in classroom activities, demonstrate Montessori principles, and maintain a safe and organized learning environment. They must be responsible for child welfare, curriculum, and compliance with school regulations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent OR One year of experience working with children less than 13 years old
• Educational background in Early Childhood, Child Development or related field is preferred
• Pass all background checks required by OCFS
• Meets school / state health requirements (TB test, immunizations, physical)
