Special Situations Research Analyst

ISS Stoxx is hiring a Special Situations Research Analyst to join their Special Situation Research (SSR) team. The role involves researching and analyzing corporate events, recommending actions for institutional shareholders, and collaborating with corporate executives and investors.

Requirements

• Research and analyze corporate events, including mergers, acquisitions, and contests for corporate control
• Draft and edit professional-quality analyses of contentious corporate situations
• Lead or participate in engagement meetings and calls with corporate executives and investors
• Develop market overviews and produce research notes on timely subjects
• Maintain a database of potentially contentious corporate situations
• Review and contribute to the development of research analysts' work
• Answer internal and external client queries and participate in discussions to support ISS policy development
• Contribute to seasonal reviews, Bulletin Calls, and other client-focused research reports
