Applications Engineer Level 3, Control Systems

The Applications Engineer for Control Systems will support the development and execution of control systems for reciprocating gas engine power generation. This role focuses on retrofitting, conversion, and testing of control systems, including multipoint injection controls and PLC/HMI integration, along with maintaining documentation and safety compliance. The position requires a project-driven approach with on-site commissioning and expertise in electrical systems and equipment inspection.

Requirements

• Manage complex site applications using MSHS and third-party resources.
• Supervise junior engineers and field service engineers.
• Develop and test integrated systems for engine safety controls.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment and components.
• Troubleshoot electrical machinery and systems.
• Install new or replace electrical and electronic components.
• Design and test integrated systems.
• Maintain documentation and follow standards.
• Report work with documentation.
