Job Description
Island Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Tech to inspect, repair, and maintain hotel systems and equipment. This role involves both independent work and teamwork, requiring thoroughness, attention to detail, and adherence to safety guidelines. Flexible scheduling is possible and depends on guest occupancy and staffing.
Requirements
- Inspect, report, and correct potential safety hazards.
- Complete basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and floor maintenance.
- Complete painting, roof repairs, and exterior projects.
- Complete pool and exercise room equipment repairs.
- Check stocking levels of consumables and replace when appropriate.
- Work with chief engineer and management team.
- Report to hotel in bad weather conditions (snow shoveling, ice melting).
