Head of Strategic Procurement (m/f/d) – Protein, FMCG & Functional Nutrition

MAXX is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to develop and operate purchasing activities in the protein, FMCG, and functional nutrition sectors. The role involves building strong supplier relationships, managing risks, and developing supplier strategies. Proficiency in SAP and analytical skills are essential.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related commercial field
• Several years of professional experience in the procurement of protein, whey or other food products
• In-depth category and supplier knowledge in the Nutrition/Food Ingredients sector
• Proven negotiation skills and contract success
• Experience with whey proteins and functional foods
• Expertise in risk management and dual-sourcing strategies
• Proficient in SAP
