Technical Lead - Contract AI

Ironclad is hiring a Technical Lead - Contract AI for its AI platform and product. The role involves leading engineering efforts, overseeing AI quality, and building systems that assist lawyers in high-stakes negotiations. The successful candidate will have experience in software development, engineering management, and AI/ML fluency, and will be comfortable navigating ambiguity and leading high-performing teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software experience architecting, building, launching, and maintaining complex systems
• 2+ years of technical leadership or management experience
• Extensive experience designing high-performance infrastructure required to power complex, real-world AI workflows
• Hands-on experience with LLM orchestration, RAG, and establishing rigorous AI quality frameworks
• Experience with TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Docker/Kubernetes on Google Cloud Platform
• A passion for building tools that users love and experience working closely with researchers, designers, and product managers
