Construction Permit Coordinator

IQ Fiber is seeking an energetic and customer-focused Construction Permit Coordinator to support their growing team in identifying and procuring necessary permits and approvals for fiber optic network construction, installation, and maintenance. This role involves researching regulatory requirements, maintaining a permitting database, communicating with jurisdictional employees, and moving toward ideal permitting conditions. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.

Requirements

• Identify, procure, and comply with necessary proprietary, regulatory, and stakeholder party Permits
• Research and analysis of regulatory requirements and their potential impact on project elements and schedules
• Produce a permit action plan for each project
• Submit permit packages via online systems, fax, or in person, including permit tracking and correlation
• Maintain a database of permit requirements for past and ongoing projects
• Follow up with permitting agencies to ensure timely approval of permits
• Post permit submittals, approve permits, manage the permitting module in internal tracking system
• Track all contractor permits and revisions
• Track all permit expiration dates
• Work with local jurisdictions to move toward ideal permitting conditions
• Process and understanding of permitting applications
• Maintain positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Track all contractor permits and revisions
