Job Description
IOActive is seeking a Senior Embedded Device Security Consultant to perform advanced security evaluations and research for clients. Consultants will work with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality results, focusing on security for automobiles, payment devices, mobile phones, and medical devices. This is a hybrid position with some time split between the security lab and remote work.
Requirements
- Technical Skills: JTAG/Onchip Debuggers, Soldering skills to remove flash chips and solder on test leads, Reverse Engineering (Firmware), ARM/Java and Assembly language knowledge, Linux, and a mainstream programming language.
- Hardware/embedded system hacking
- Software on embedded products development
- Reverse engineering and source code review experience
- Vulnerability assessment and penetration testing experience
- Security-related knowledge (authentication, entitlements, etc.)
