Job Description
Invenergy is seeking a Wind Technician to operate and maintain the Miami Energy Center, a 288.6 MW wind power generation facility in Miami, TX. The Wind Technician will be responsible for performing routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on GE wind turbine and associated equipment, and troubleshooting faults, repair, and replace components.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year technical experience (mechanical, electrical, etc.) and/or technical education
- Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather, climb ladders without assistance, and work at heights greater than 80 meters (250 feet)
- Ability to move and manipulate up to 45 kg (100 pounds)
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship
