Job Description
Action Carting Environmental Services/Interstate Waste Services is seeking a Waste Collection Roll-Off Driver to work out of their Brooklyn Depot. The driver will be responsible for safely operating a Roll-Off Truck, transporting waste and recyclable material to disposal, transfer, or recycle facilities. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience driving and operating a Roll Off Truck, a valid Class A or B CDL with airbrake endorsement, and a clean driving record.
Requirements
- Valid Class A or B CDL with airbrake endorsement
- At least 1 year of experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL A or B within the last 7 years
- At least 1 year of experience driving and operating a Roll Off Truck
- Working knowledge of DOT, OSHA and applicable traffic regulations
- Ability to speak and read English well enough to converse with the general public
