Job Description
The International Fresh Produce Association is seeking a Director, Communications and Public Affairs to shape and enhance the organization's global image and advise leaders on policy and regulatory landscapes. The individual will provide strategic counsel and develop effective communication strategies to increase positive awareness of the industry and IFPA members among key stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations, English, Journalism or related field
- 8 years of progressive experience in communications, media relations and leading a team
- Experience working for a political office, agency or organization in Washington, DC
- Experience working with Washington DC media
- Strong Understanding of industry issues, US trade policy and global trade landscape
