Job Description
We are seeking a Scientist Production: Aquaculture Research to support the design and management of a sea urchin hatchery and production of juveniles for research and grow-out studies. The successful candidate will contribute towards the design, optimization and management of recirculating aquaculture systems and assist with daily animal husbandry, microalgal culture maintenance and system maintenance.
Requirements
- Masters in Genetics/Biological/Ichthyology/Zoology or Molecular Biology
- PhD an advantage
- SACNASP registration
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in in the field of aquaculture research
