Job Description
The Senior Facility Planning Engineer will identify project scope alternatives, estimate costs, and recommend optimal facilities to meet commercial objectives. This role involves research, pipeline modeling, system outage analysis, and collaboration with various departments. The position lasts for 6 months and requires advanced technical knowledge and accuracy in data and report generation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or related field
- Eight or more years of operational/technical experience in a natural gas and measurement operations function
- Knowledge of engineering principles and practices for pipeline/compression theory
- Proficiency with PC software and pipeline simulation software
- Knowledge of environmental, DOT and FERC regulations
