Social Worker (MSW or SSW)

We are seeking a School Social Worker to serve its students at Lighthouse Academy on either a full time or part time basis. The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Social Work and a valid State of Michigan Master's Social Worker license. The role involves providing individual SSW services/therapy to each student/family on their caseload, coordinating enrollment from the previous school district, and maintaining contact with previous schools, DHS or juvenile court workers, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university
• Valid State of Michigan Master's Social Worker license
• Certified School Social Worker status issued by the Michigan Department of Education, Office of Special Education and Early Intervention Services, preferred
