Job Description
IPS is seeking a dynamic Field Service Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain diesel and gas engine-driven standby generators in the field. The role involves preventative maintenance, inspections, cleaning, testing, troubleshooting, and diagnosis, delivering top-notch service to clients in various sectors.
Requirements
- Preventative maintenance (oil & filter changes, spark plugs, coolant, filters)
- Inspections (mechanical and electrical systems)
- Cleaning (oil, fuel, and air filters)
- Testing (load bank, ATS, switchgear, battery systems)
- Troubleshooting (alternators, wiring harness, switches, etc.)
- Diagnosis (failure analysis, battery systems)
- Commissioning & Start Ups (design review, testing)
- Customer Service (communicate issues & resolutions)
- Documentation (complete reports on work)
- Vehicle maintenance (safety maintenance)
