Job Description
IPS is seeking a dynamic Field Service Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain power distribution equipment. The role involves working alongside experienced technicians, utilizing advanced technology, and delivering top-notch service to customers. This position requires a strong work ethic, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited 2-year technical college in Electrical Power, or similar experience/training
- 5+ years of relevant testing experience
- RTS/Protest relay testing experience
- NETA Certification (III or IV) preferred
- OSHA 30 hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED training
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, operating manuals, and safety guidelines
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends
