Job Description
IPS is seeking a passionate In-Shop Technician to rewind and inspect electrical equipment. This hands-on position involves removing, inspecting, recording data, and performing testing. The company prioritizes safety, growth opportunities, and a customer-focused environment. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to critical industries and maintain the reliability of equipment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in rewinding AC and DC electric motors
- Ability to perform basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple to moderately complex written and verbal instructions
- Ability to operate and perform VPI
- Ability to exercise initiative, judgement, and decision making related to routine duties within set company standards
