The Systems Engineer supports the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) Academic Network Labor Contract to administer, maintain, secure, and accredit the DLIFLC Academic Network.
Requirements
- BA/BS from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 5+ years experience in Systems Engineering
- IAT Level II (CySA+, Security+, CND, or SSCP) Certification and CE/OS Certification
- Experience serving as a system administrator for Microsoft O365, VMWare, Vsphere, and NSX-T, Linux Red Hat, Windows Server, SQL, MySQL, EMC SAN technologies and applications, Active Directory, AWS, or Microsoft Azure
- Experience maintaining a high-availability datacenter
- Expertise in operating systems (Windows, Linux), networking protocols, storage technologies, cloud computing platforms, and security best practices
- Strong analytical abilities to diagnose complex technical issues and develop effective solutions
