Job Description
The Cloud Engineer supports the U.S. Army Product Lead Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology Enterprise Systems and Services (PL ALTESS) commercial cloud services infrastructure.
Requirements
- Experience in Computer Science or IT
- CompTIA Security+
- Security+ (Or equivalent IA cert) and computing environment certification
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience effectively managing multiple large-scale projects
- Experience automating routine administrative tasks
- Strong experience with IPSEC/VPN, and other secure transport technologies
- Proven experience migrating on-premises applications to the cloud
- Understanding of network, storage, server, and application technologies
- Strong knowledge of automation concepts, tools, and scripting languages
- Working knowledge of code repositories tools such as Git
- Working knowledge of DoD STIGs, and IA Vulnerability Management (IAVM)
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipeline experience
