IT Specialist

IFM Silicon Valley is seeking a highly motivated and versatile IT Specialist to build and maintain its IT infrastructure from the ground up at its Sunnyvale office location. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a broad range of IT skills, capable of establishing secure networks, configuring systems, providing technical support, and effectively bridging communication and IT needs between teams in different time zones.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent 5-7 years of progressively responsible professional experience in an IT role
• Proven experience in setting up and managing IT infrastructure in a new office or lab environment
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Network+, CCNA, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Apple Certified Mac Technician)
• Experience with lab-specific IT requirements and software
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automating laptop configuration and other IT tasks
• Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions for managing laptops
• Familiarity with remote access and support tools for assisting laptop users
