Job Description
The Institute for Justice (IJ) is seeking an Investigations and Media Strategist to lead their Rapid Response Team and expose government abuse. This role involves investigative research, media outreach, and campaign development to advance IJ’s mission of protecting constitutional rights and justice. The position may be based in Arlington, VA, Seattle, WA, Austin, TX, Miami, FL, or Phoenix, AZ.
Requirements
- Lead IJ’s Rapid Response Team, developing strategies including litigation support and media outreach.
- Research and uncover and expose government overreach.
- Develop investigative projects and write op-eds.
- Collaborate with communications and legal teams.
- Use a range of research tools and data-driven investigative experience.
